Updates & news & whatnot

"math" & sexy sexy leg hairs
One of these days I'm going to have something exciting to tell you, but this week it's just the usual slow-&-steady-wins-the-race bits. So, let's get to it...

  • FibroShark officially 20% complete according to "math"
  • artist's pain apparently under control
  • my latest hair coloring experiment is super-fucking-cool
  • it turns out dogs are terrible office assistants

As always, you can find my work on Instagram & Facebook, & you can keep an eye on FibroShark on Facebook as well.

FibroShark officially 20% complete
I'm the kind of person who needs to quantify the unquantifiable, especially when working on a large scale project -- actually, I guess that's probably the most normal thing about me. So, while watching Ghost Adventures all weekend, I made some lists & came to some conclusions:
  • Illustration is 40% completed!
  • 1st draft of the text is 50% complete
  • Overall completion of FibroShark Hungry is at 20% & growing
Maybe it's not that exciting, but, I thought you might like to know since you probably put up some dough to help this whole thing happen.

Artist pain apparently under control
I don't know if I mentioned this last time, but I officially don't have MS. It wasn't a huge concern on the part of my doctors, but the noises they made about it being a possibility freaked me out quite a lot. Officially, the word on my recent increase in symptoms is "fibro does weird things somethings"; & while that's generally unhelpful, it does offer quite a bit of solace that there's nothing "new" wrong with me.

Dogs make terrible office assistants
Last week Stewart decided that the best way to help me was to knock my coffee over onto my planner. It wasn't that devastating of a mess (& it was time for a new planner anyway), but it did mean that he's been fired as my assistant & is down to only two jobs around the studio: companion & Official Holder Down of the Floor Just In Case Gravity Starts Acting Up.

I don't know why this counts as studio news, but the absurd adorability of my dog is a nice little easter egg for those who read all the way to the end of the news blog.
